This week have been teaching at Lee Abbey, Devon, on Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, through the helpful lens of NT Wright, who argued in his 2018 Paul, A Biography, that Ephesus was a place of physical and spiritual captivity for Paul, and therefore a place where he learnt and changed a lot.
